मुँह से सिगरेट का धुआँ छोड़ते हुए , तुम्हारी हँसी , कुछ अनायास सा ही मैं खींच सा गया तुम्हारी ओर । तुम सिगरेट और चाय पीने अक्सर आया करती थी । कुछ तो था तुम्हारे अंदर, जो औरों में नहीं था । एक नयापन, ज़िंदगी में कुछ अलग करने का जज़्बा, सब कुछ कर जाने की चाहत, कहीं भी न रुकने की आदत, गज़ब का जूनून । मैं भी फीका सा लगता था तुम्हारे आगे ।
