I see someone, a girl. She is sitting, hardly visible in the windy fire. She looks gorgeous. I look at her from across, she is probably smiling. Her open hair playing with the wind. She is looking at the flames and I am lost looking at her.

You are talking to someone and you spontaneously laugh, and I look at your laugh, mesmerized! I keep staring at your carefree laughter, you are so happy. I smile looking at your happy face and you curl your lips speaking something over the call, holding my hand. You won’t let go.

I am so in love with you, I can’t tell you enough. I have seen ways you have been and how you sheepishly smile and do things you don’t do for anyone.

आज भी दिल ख़ुश नहीं है, शायद तुम मिल जाओ तो भी शायद जख्म गहरे और बेहिसाब हैं, इन आँखों की नमी आज भी याद है मुझे पिछली शाम की तरह। दिल में आज भी दर्द हो उठता है तेरी बातें होती हैं जब। क्यों तेरी गलियों में घूमने को दिल आज भी बेचैन है, क्यों तेरे बारे में सब कुछ जानने को बेताब है, क्यों ये तुझसे आज भी प्यार करता है ?

छुपाओ जब कोई सच मुझसे, दिल में दर्द हो तुम्हारे, मेरे निस्वार्थ प्रेम का ये सिला दिया तुमने। जब भी गुज़रे तुम्हारी रातें किसी और की बाहों में, रूह बिखर जाये और मेरे पास आने को कसमसाए, ऐसे जोड़ा था नाता तुमसे।

नींद खुली और तुम मेरी बांहों में थी, निर्वस्त्र। तुम्हारे चेहरे पर आती ज़ुल्फ़ों की महक साँसों में घुलने लगी, तुम्हारे करीब आकर जुल्फें हटाकर तुम्हारा कमनीय चेहरा देखा, बहुत ही खूबसूरत लग रही थी। रेशम से बाल मेरी उँगलियों में से फिसल गए। तुम्हे अपनी ओर खींचा और तुम्हारे रुखसारों पर अपने होंठ रख दिए, चूमता ही रहा तुम्हे धीमे से।

तुम्हारे साथ उस प्रेम दिवस के शामोत्सव में मुझे पिछली रात की याद हो आई, और होठों पर अनायास ही मुस्कान उभर आयी, तुम्हारे हाथ थामे जैसे छोड़ने का मन ही नहीं हो रहा था,

सर्द सी वो रैना, और उस रैना में तुम अग्नि उत्सव में हाथ ताप रहे थे। एकटक निहारती ही रही तुम्हे, चेहरे पर तुम्हरे अग्नि के बढ़ते हुए रंग जैसे सुनहरी सी मखमली छाप छोड़े जा रहे थे, तुम्हारा आकर्षक सा चेहरा और सुभग हो चला था।
